Product Description
Kontakt Chemie Graphit 33 Spray
Description:
Acrylic resin coating with electrically conductive graphite powder
General properties and applications:
KONTAKT CHEMIE Graphit 33 is an electrically conductive coating with a very high proportion of graphite powder in the dry layer. The coating exhibits good adhesion to many materials, e.g., metal, many plastics, glass, wood. The very fine and pure graphite powder offers a very wide range of applications:
Conductive coating: Permanent safe diverting of electrostatic discharges, the coating of the backs of cathode ray tubes, ESD-safe packages, electroplating of non-conductive materials, manufacture or repair of the graphite-coated conductive layers of keyboard switches, inexpensive conductive coating for photo-electronic spectroscopy and low-resolution electron microscopy, for example.
Optical applications: The jet black colour makes KONTAKT CHEMIE Graphit 33 suitable as an absorbent coating, e.g. for laser applications with visible and infrared light. It improves the efficiency of laser-hardening of steel parts.
High-temperature release agents: Conductive protective release coating for high-voltage contacts, high-temperature release agent, e.g. for moulds used for the sintering of abrasive agents in abrasive discs.
Sliding coating: Permanent, temperature-resistant, dry sliding coating. The electrically conductive coating prevents the build-up of electrostatic charges by friction, e.g. in packaging and pneumatic post installations
