Synthetic Rubber AdhesivePolygrip PLUS 909 is a brownish yellow, fast curing synthetic rubber base adhesive.This adhesive is versatile and suitable for most of the substrates including rubber, leather, wood, rexin, canvas, and foams. This adhesive is also suitable for adhering similar and dissimilar substrates to achieve strong bonds. Optimum bond strength can be achieved if open time is not more than 30 minutes. Open time is subjective and depends on environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and foreign particles in air.Immediately after bonding the substrates, apply adequate pressure on the component to achieve strong adhesion.In order to achieve optimum strength, allow components to store for at least 24 hours at ambient conditions.PrecautionsPolygrip PLUS 909 contain highly volatile and flammable solvents, therefore, appropriate care must be taken for ventilation during application.Product must not be exposed to naked flame and very hot objects.Polygrip product must be kept in closed original containers to avoid physical and chemical changes which may happen during exposure to environment.Storage and HandlingPolygrip PLUS 909 has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its original container at room temperature. Since the product is highly flammable, the storage area and shop floor should be restricted from naked flame. Keep the adhesive container lid tightly closed when not in use to avoid unnecessary solvent evaporation from the adhesive. Proper ventilation must be provided on the shop floor.
