Corrosion protection tape as per DIN 30672 and DIN EN 12068 for buried and immersed pipelines, containers and plant with operating temperatures of up to 50^oC. For high corrosive and mechanical stress. Asymmetrical 3-ply synthetic tape with a stabilized polyethylene carrier film coated on both sides with a

permanently plastic, butyl rubber based synthetic compound.

The highly stable and supple carrier film guarantees a high degree of protection from mechanical damage. BUTYLEN Tape AS 40 Plus will amalgamate in the overlap area and between the individual wrapping layers.

A sleeve-like, mechanically very resistant and stable coating is the result, practically impermeable to water vapor and oxygen. The thick gray butyl adhesive layer and the supple carrier film mean that the tape conforms particularly well to the structure of the underlying layer (e.g. welding beads and the edges of factory coatings.
